Promotional products are a powerful advertising method when they are utilized in the correct fashion. They defy the normal principles of advertising due to their physical nature. This ability for promotional products to deliver their advertising message more than once increases the return on investment for every advertising dollar spent.

Promotional products have a physical presence in the world. Not everyone will be watching television, listening to the radio or reading a print advertisement but they will always be in the physical world. The advertising medium of the physical world has powerful psychological properties. When someone views an advertising message in the physical world they are much more likely to remember it then when compared with the constant drone of traditional advertising. The human brain can only store a limited amount of information. Having an advertisement in the physical world increases the chances that your message isn’t added to the brains trash pile.
